I joined this school in class II in the year of 1971 & continued upto 1977. Due to my father's transfer I had to leave the school when I was in class VII.I was also in Mission Hostel during those days. I also wish to visit my old school when an opportunity comes in my life. you guys are of senior group I passed my hslc in 1985 from vivekananda vidyalya.I remember some of my teachers our science tachers.sirbindu das ,deepak sir,begum madam. English teacher was jyoti madam,hindi teachers were br gupta and sr gupta etc.I would definetely like to visit my school one day before i die.At the moment i m well settled in london running my own business of car repairs thx to the education of this school that we are so successfull in our life.

Going through this page reminds me of my school days at this school till 1980 when I was in class six and a border of Mission Hostel where the superientendent was Mr Sontosh Chakarborty. I had the oppourchunity to study under the great Head Master of the school Lt Tarani Mohan Dasgupta. I wish to visit my old school someday.at present I am setteled in Kolkata , to be preceise KONNAGAR , dt Hoogly and emploied as a Project Engineer of Sintex Industries Ltd. I passed HSLC Exam. from this school way back in 1965 & was placed in 1st. Divn. I remember , my dear friend Jitendra Paul stood 2nd. in the Board that year! I remember , Shri Tarini Mohan Dasgupta was our Headmaster ! Among others, I still remember my respected Teachers... Sorboshri Mukul & Nikhal Ranjan Deb (both were brothers),Monotosh Dasgupta , Sisir Sir , Sarkar Sir ,Nipendra Chakraborty (Pandit Sir), Herembo Chowdhury (he died of cancer), Sukhendu Bhattacharjee(Carpenter Teacher), Gunen Sir(math.& English) Horen Sir(He resigned & joined Tinsukia School as Headmaster in early 1960s)...I still remember the Natmandir, where we used to assemble for our daily Prayer prior to commence our class...also I remember our Hall-cum-Auditorium just opposite to our Natmandir. I studied in this school during 1958(class 4) to HSLC in 1965. My father was working with Powai Tea Garden & I was staying in a hostel,run by Shri Sukhendu Bhattacharjee....I intend to visit my school soon to pay my respect to this great Institution . We shifted to Calcutta in 1966 & I got my Electrial Engineering Degree (1972) from Jadavpur University , Calcutta.
